Artist's Comments

This is a sample of one square of an afghan I'm working on. The Cthulhu head is crochetted hunter green chenille yarn with the eyes outlined in sage green Lyon suede yarn and the eye slits are some sort of chichi red sparkle yarn.

The background is simple knitted black yarn.

p.s., I smooshed this in my scanner, that's why the squid looks a little like the scary version of the pressed fairy book.

Which begs the question, what the plural of Cthulhu might be... Cthulhii? Cthulhus? Cthulhae?

(Yeah, I know, Cthulhu is probably a singulare tantum ^^)
